In this KiK special feature, BKS Squadron pilots will see the conflict in Kosovo from a different perspective. Pilots will get the opportunity to fly for the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the desperate struggle against NATO, the Albanian’s & the KLA, or continue flying for NATO against their squadmates in a unique PVP scenario.

INTRODUCTION
It’s May, 1999. The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia strains against the steady pressure of NATO backed incursion into Kosovo. As the NATO air bombing campaign comes to a close, FRY forces lash out in a desperate attempt to hang on to crucial territory in spite of growing KLA insurgency, backed by the mighty of the US Military. This Monday BKS Pilots will participate in a crucial late campaign battle, with the choice of flying for BLUFOR or REDFOR.

REDFOR pilots will work against the odds to complete a classified mission. BLUFOR will attempt to detect REDFOR and stop them short of completing their objectives. PVP losses WILL NOT count against your overall survival rating, however, any kills will be added to your score. FRY Air Defenses remain active in the AOA, primarily consisting of SA-3 Goa and SA-6 Kub SAMs, AAA of various types and MANPADS. Super Galeb’s, MI-8s and SA342s continue to operate in the area.

REDFOR: NATO has general air superiority. All fixed wing assets operate under close GCI control, due to the value of each asset. Rotary wing flights generally remain undetected. KLA and Albanian ground forces have MANPADs, AAA, small arms, and armored vehicles of various types. Use extreme caution, preservation of air assets is our highest priority.
