BLUE FALCONS: The Heist

Iran ran with Falcon’s money, so we torched their tanker. You could say we broke even, but no one ever got rich breaking even… FDS has a new plan to get our money out of Iran, but it won’t be easy. We got our work cut out for us, but it we pull off this score, we will make a buck or two, and most importantly teach Iran never to mess with FDS!

SITREP
THE HIEST: PART 1
So our last operation may not have gone exactly to plan… While we managed to bring Iran to the table by seizing their tanker, they clearly didn’t tank FDS seriously enough to hand over our money for the defunct arms deal. Our mistake was giving them a choice… This time Iran will pay up, and they won’t get a chance to stab us in the back!
FDS Operations has come across actionable intel to explain Iran’s double cross. Farhad Omidyar… This fat cat son of a bitch is the principle behind Iran’s choice to run with our money. Based on our latest intelligence, Omidyar persuaded the Iranian Government to stiff FDS, and to attempt a double cross to rid them of our nagging presence. His exact reasons for this remain undetermined, however Omidyar is the majority stock owner of Draken International, one of major global competitors, so FDS has been in his sights for some time now… We should have seen this coming!
Omidyar is the wealthiest man in Iran, and one of the most wealthy in the world. Clearly he has taken the recent bout with FDS in his stride, probably taking comfort in thinking FDS isn’t aware of his involvement. Among Omidyar’s near insurmountable wealth is his massive collection of jewels & artifacts. In a sheer stroke of luck, it so happens that Omidyar is showcasing his multi-million dollar collection at the “Burj Al Arab Jumeirah” Resort in Dubai, at a high profile expo set to take place in just a few days.
Put simply- we are going to take it…. All of it… but if we are going to pull this off, we will need to prepare. The following tasks must be completed before we make our move- ideally in one mission!
.

.
TASK 1: FREE LARS ORTEGA
Lars Ortega is was of our finest veteran TALON Operators… He is our premier expert in digital security, and he would be instrumental in getting through the physical security that will almost certainly stand between us and the goods. Unfortunately, Lars was left behind on Lesser Tunb following the ambush by the Iranian’s and presumed KIA or MIA. We have since learned he is being held in Iran’s Faror Island Prison Complex… FDS simply cannot replace Ortega in time to pull this off, we have no choice but to bust Ortega out…
.

.
TASK 2: CASE THE JOINT
We will need to recce the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah Resort, and plan for how we will get TALON in and out. TALON will mostly be inserted by air, however they can flee the Resort by air, land, sea, or whatever else you fellas come up with. We need to know the layout of the resort, the best egress options, and estimate the physical security. Omidyar (understandably) harbors little to no trust of the Dubia Police, so of course he will have Draken International Operatives providing close protection for him and his assets. We need to know what Draken has in position, along with police presence, civilian presence, and any additional threats.
THIS MUST BE DONE DISCRETELY. Omidyar isn’t an idiot… If he hears FDS is buzzing the Burj two days before his big show, he will know something is up. Keep a low profile, and find a way to recce without tipping our hand to Omidyar.
.

.
TASK 3: CONTACT OUR CONTACT
We have a local contact boots on ground in Dubia, who has obtained vital intel on the inner workings of Omidyar’s network security. We will need the hard drives he has obtained to develop software to defeat any vault systems in place (assuming we get to Ortega…) Our contact, callsign RAPTOR, will set up a meet with one of our assets somewhere well north of Dubia. He has gone radio silent for now, but when he reaches out we will need to contact him IN PERSON. Again, this should be done by a LOW PROFILE aircraft. We are recommended you guys barrow one of Falcon Air Services CE 2s parked on the ramp for local air tours. That’s a perfect pre-text to get into Dubia airspace without raising eyebrows. Meet RAPTOR and get the intel.
.

.
TASK 4: STEAL DRAKEN’S SHIT
Whether we choose to egress via land, air or sea, we will need to “acquire” some DRAKEN hardware for use in the heist. This will allow us to get some of our guys close, in order for them to make preparations before the party kicks off. DRAKEN has a FBO set up at Sirri Island (the bastards under cut out bid for that same FBO) and they have an equipment depot set up at that location. We will need to secure an armored car, boat, or aircraft. Get TALON operatives or a pilot in there to liberate DRAKEN of the hardware of your choice, based on the plans for the heist. DRAKEN usually paints their shit in camo patterns with gray flare, so they should be easy to ID.

Support:

The F.D.S. Invictus II is on scene and ready to support all FDS operations. The Shit’Pusher will be joining alongside the Invictus to provide escort. The Invictus is currently 7 MILES EAST of Faror Island.

TALON Teams will be picked up from the Invictus and inserted onto the target when the time is right. This activity will be at the direction of OPS.

Per FDS SOP, OPS will monitor guard and will be the central command and control for FDS activities.

Airspace Restrictions:

Overflight of UAE or Iranian mainland airspace is probably a bad idea, so try to avoid it. The United States Navy is also around the strait thanks to Iran’s recent antics, so best not to fuck with them either. Give any military ship (aside from Iran’s) a wide berth.

UAE and USA reaction to our activity is unpredictable, so semper-gumby.

Weather:

Clear and warm, winds are light and variable.
